All That Glitters

Although Christmas is over, but I am still immersed in the festive mood, and the new year is next week. So to share this festive season, I'd like to share a few photos I took at Orchard Road, Singapore. I try to edit them using Photoshop, but I guess I need to borrow some books before I can really enhance my photos. Actually I initially wanted to create a dreamy feeling for the first photo, but don't know how. Any tips?

I like to take night photos, because the lights are so nice. But it can be quite difficult because of the low light conditions. Thus you need a rather good camera in which you can adjust ISO to increase light sensitivity and slow down your shutter speed to capture more light.

Maiden Post - Black and White of the Everyday

Well I have wanted to create a blog sharing my interests in design, photography and stuff. This blog also allows people to comment and share their interests. I will try to update the blog as often as possible, either with pictures of my own creations or pictures from other sources which I like (or dislike). Hope many can share their views and thoughts with what I have posted.

So these are the 5 maiden posts of photos and designs. The theme will be black and white. These photos are also taken from ordinary daily life objects. Since this blog is new, I want the first post to be simple, therefore the theme of black and white of the everyday objects.

Besides being ordinary objects, these are the objects that hold dearly to me.

I have another blog, which is about my life.

This blog will be improved, I promise. Will add more links and change the design when I am more familiar with webpage and html stuff.
