The Beauty of Nature

Didn't know the place near where I stay can be such a beauty. I must try to appreciate the places around me more detailedly. For now, enjoy!

Weddings

Previously, I have featured wedding photos, which are mostly black and white. But wedding photos can also look gorgeous with colours, as they still capture the whole atmosphere very well. Happen to chance upon this website which has a good collection of nice colored wedding photos.

Here Comes the Bride

Thanks to Suhui for the information of this blog. It features wedding photos as well. As I mentioned, I think weddings are emotional moments when many priceless expressions can be captured.

Flame of Life

Life is like the flame of candle. Although very small and very vulnerable to the surrounding winds, it can still be strong and very stable. It just needs the fuel to keep on going. We all need our fuels, just that sometimes, we run out of it. We just have to keep on looking for that fuel.

The Dark Sky

I took this shot in the evening when the sky is turning dark. Played a bit with the colors of the sky to have a surreal effect, and the people walking in the streets seemed nonchalant about the things around them. It's like some times, we are so busy with the fast paced lives that we really ignored what is happening around.

The Wedding Bells

I think weddings are moments when people can get really emotional. There are many emotions that can be captured during these occasions. These few photos really capture emotions and the atmosphere of weddings really well, I think. The black and white photos have the timeless feelings.

You're Beautiful

I was browsing ClubSNAP and bumped into zemotion's photography. Then I went to see her related deviant art and her website. I really like the way the photographer captures the emotions of the posed models. But somehow, I feel that in most of the portraits she has taken, there's somehow a slight tinge of melancholy, be it in the color she chooses or the expressions on her models. I also liked the lightings that she uses in her photographs.

In her photos, she cleverly highlights the beauty of Asian ladies. She also does fashion photography.

The Stairs

This was taken when I was at the holiday chalet I mentioned a few posts back. Did some Photoshop editing as well. Any comments of how I can improve?

I felt that in the original picture, there was too much 'brown-ess', thus I adjusted the saturation and also the contrast and brightness as usual.

What's Your Style?

I am from an a cappella group called Resonance. This was during 1 and a half years back when we had a performance, and the photo was taken at a basement where the lighting was really suitable for nice effects. Did some Photoshop and made changes to the contrast and brightness. I only had the small picture, so there's very limited to what I can do. And it's also my first time attempting to do some editing using Photoshop. I hope to improve the next time. Sorry if I have spoiled the photo.

Thanks to Suhui for the photo.

I just want to add one more thing. Punk is SO NOT OUR STYLE. Haha!!

Time and Space

This photo was taken at a holiday chalet I was in a few weeks ago. I like the colors and how the brightness and darkness were emphasized. It gave an overall rustic and old feeling. Played with the brightness and contrast a little.

Graffiti

Something I drew on Facebook. It's actually a sketch of Katherine Moennig, an actress from the drama, The L Word. It's not very nice, but it's my first attempt to draw without a pencil and paper.
